Sanity Testing
Sanity Testing is applied after the regression testing strategy to ensure that the application is stable and all the modules in the application are working properly. The goal is to determine that the proposed functionality works roughly as expected. Sanity testing is able to quickly identify any defects in the core functionality of the system and ensures that no new bugs are introduced.
Regression Testing
Regression testing is an important testing strategy that ensures that the software product is delivered in high quality. This testing checks for bugs and abnormalities in the functionality of the application or modules after recent code changes, application enhancements, or bug fixes.
API Testing
API testing strategy conducts tests on the API layer to validate that all the integrated applications with the system act the way they are designed. API testing also validates the flow of data and information between a few different API connections. Quality engineers adapt this testing strategy to ensure that the Developed API meets expectations in terms of reliability, performance, security, and functionality by detecting bugs and inconsistencies in the application.
