Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with strong expertise in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and endpoint management. This role requires hands-on experience in managing on-premises and cloud systems, ensuring security and availability, and supporting business continuity through proactive monitoring, configuration, and incident resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Cloud Management
- Manage and monitor servers, storage, and networks across on-premises and cloud (Azure / O365 / other cloud environments).
- Administer Office 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and licensing.
- Perform user migration and mailbox management between tenants and environments.
Security & Access Control
- Configure and maintain firewall policies, VPNs, and VLANs for secure and optimized access.
- Implement and monitor endpoint security (antivirus, DLP, EDR/XDR) across the organization.
- Manage Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for access control, security compliance, and user provisioning.
Network & System Administration
- Configure and manage LAN, WAN, VLANs, and VPN connections for seamless connectivity.
- Troubleshoot networking issues, internet downtime, login failures, and folder access issues.
- Ensure high availability and performance of file servers, application servers, and database servers.
Endpoint & Remote Work Support
- Oversee endpoint management using MDM/Endpoint Central/Intune for patching, updates, and compliance.
- Provide technical support for end-users including remote workers (login, access, VPN, printers, system issues).
- Maintain IT asset lifecycle including allocation, upgrades, and decommissioning.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Manage backup schedules (full, incremental, differential) and validate recovery procedures.
- Ensure business continuity through tested disaster recovery plans.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure, policies, incidents, and resolutions.
- Support internal audits and compliance frameworks (SOC, ISO, GDPR).
What We Expect:
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with O365 administration, cloud environments, and Active Directory.
- Proficiency in firewall configuration (policies, NAT, VPN) and network segmentation (VLANs).
- Experience in endpoint management (patching, antivirus, MDM, Intune/Endpoint Central).
- Knowledge of backup strategies, disaster recovery, and system migrations.
Networking & Security
- Solid understanding of IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and routing concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot LAN/WAN/VPN/firewall issues.
- Knowledge of security best practices including patch management and monitoring.
Problem-Solving & Support
- Skilled in troubleshooting system errors, login failures, and access issues.
- Ability to handle user escalations with patience and clear communication.
- Proactive in identifying and resolving potential system bottlenecks or risks.
Soft Skills & Growth
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Ability to document processes, SOPs, and incident reports clearly.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and grow with evolving IT trends.
