Overview:

As a Dynamics 365 F&O Consultant, your role involves analyzing financial processes, understanding business requirements, configuring the Dynamics 365 F&O system, and ensuring seamless integration of financial modules. Additionally, the consultant collaborates with stakeholders to optimize financial operations, streamline reporting, customize features, and provide training and support to end-users for efficient utilization of the platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis – Gather and analyze client business requirements related to finance areas. Translate business needs into system configurations and solutions using Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Solution Design – Design and configure Dynamics 365 F&O solutions to meet client requirements, including setup of modules, entities, workflows, reports, and dashboards. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between functional design and technical implementation.
  • Configuration – Configure and customize Dynamics 365 F&O application settings, parameters, and options to align with client business processes and industry best practices.
  • Testing – Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases to validate Dynamics 365 F&O configurations and customizations. Identify and resolve issues during the testing phase to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.
  • Training – Conduct end-user training sessions and workshops to educate clients on how to use Dynamics 365 F&O effectively. Provide ongoing support and guidance to users on system functionality, features, and best practices.
  • Documentation- Create and maintain functional documentation, including business process flows, configuration guides, user manuals, and training materials. Ensure documentation is kept up to date with system changes and enhancements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in implementing and supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or similar ERP systems.
  • 2.Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, business processes, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 F&O modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting, Project Accounting & Service Module
  • Track record of leading 2-4 full life cycle implementations across the F & O Modules.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools for managing ERP implementation projects.
  • Relevant certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build rapport, establish credibility, and manage client relationships effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
